About Cannanore Tourism
Cannanore Tourism was born from a shared love for Kannur, one of Kerala’s most culturally rich and naturally beautiful destinations. Our mission is simple — to showcase the real soul of Kannur through its stories, landscapes, festivals, and people.
From the rhythmic beats of Theyyam to the calm shores of Payyambalam Beach, from ancient forts that whisper history to the aroma of Malabar cuisine — we bring every shade of Kannur closer to you.
Our story
We are friends from Kannur. Abhijith is from Karinkalkuzhi, Subin is from Cheruvathoor and Aswanth is from Thalassery. We kept noticing the same thing: anyone searching for Kannur found scattered listings and very little in one place.
So we decided to build the website ourselves. We travel together, visit the places we write about, and talk to other Kannur locals to learn the details that a quick search won’t show you, such as when a festival really starts, which beach is best at sunset, or where to find a good meal.
Cannanore Tourism started from that idea and keeps growing with every trip and every conversation.

Cannanore Tourism was founded by three Kannur natives with a combined 20+ years of on-ground experience in Kerala travel, heritage, and cultural storytelling — built to help you experience Kannur the way locals do.

Abhijith Devadas
The visionary behind Cannanore Tourism, an explorer who believes Kannur deserves a one-stop digital platform to help travellers experience its authentic beauty.
